About the Position:



This is an opportunity for a customer focussed individual to join and Mange the Student Services team in our established London campus (based in Stanmore). You will be experienced in working with students including administration, welfare, queries, Student Reps, student attendance finance queries and all associated services. You will be expected to always represent LDT in a positive manner.

You will be committed to provide a world class experience for our students and your team. You will be working in a dynamic company experiencing rapid growth.

You will be expected to work at least 1 day at the weekend.

Key Responsibilities: -



Working with Director of Student Support contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of strategic and operational plans for LDT

Working with the Director of Student Support, and other senior colleagues develop and implement annual operational plans that support the strategic plan for LTD

Manage the day-to-day operational business activities in line with LDT goals, principles and values

Management of our Student Services team across all campuses Assign workload to the Student Services team across all campuses Ensure accurate data reporting Ensure excellent customer service is provided to our students consistently Liaising with the Academic and Quality Teams as needed Ensuring accurate information is provided to students and staff Monitor last date of attendance and take measures to support engagement Be responsible for the right to study checks Attend and support all induction activities proactively Ensure Student Services Handbook is maintained, current and expanded as appropriate. Visit each campus a minimum of 1 day per month for a whole working day Be an integral part of Admissions, taking full responsibility as required. Plan and communicate admissions documentation and provide training to the team Following the agreed internal processes and procedures and resolving issues quickly and efficiently Be kept informed of any welfare issues that are being addressed by other team members, Create and implement relevant processes utilising LDT protocols for the same Ensure familiarity and adherence to all relevant processes Attend meetings as required (internal and external) Always keep notice boards up to date with correct information for students. Create a learning environment that is inspiring, respectful, and culturally aware. Oversee attendance and follow up Understand the processes involved to be able to provide cover as and when required. Ensure that all governance and compliance standards are maintained. Ensure that registrations, withdrawals, suspensions, and transfers (and similar are made in an efficient, accurate and timely manner Collaborate with the Head of Data to ensure the LDT database is maintained and up to date with correct student details ensuring accurate records of student attendance are being kept and absences are being communicated to academic management and other stakeholders in a timely manner. Comply with internal and external audits including appropriate feedback mechanisms to monitor quality and satisfaction Ensure enrolment and registration of current and new students. Responsible for the status of enrolments, contacting students and stakeholders Actioning data requests on attendance The post holder will carry out any other reasonable duties in the best interests of LDT Ensure accurate recording and reporting, sharing with Department Heads and Directors Provide feedback on tasks to Department, Quality Department and Senior Management Team. Work closely with the Head of Student Experience to off a holistic support to students Inspire and encourage the Team and students.

An undergraduate degree Experience of building and managing high performing teams Experience of working in student services & admissions Experience of managing compliance Experience of working in Higher education

Salary:

35,000 -40,000 dependent upon experience

Contract Length:

6 Months

Weekly Working Hours:

Full time. At least one day must be at the weekend
