To support this growth, we're seeking an Interim Management Accountant who will provide stability, clarity, and trusted insight during a critical period.

We're hiring a Management Accountant on a 6-month fixed-term contract to oversee and guide the financial performance of our business.

This role ensures that our ambitious growth is underpinned by strong financial management -- giving confidence to our leadership and project teams that decisions are made with clear, accurate information.

How you'll lead



You'll be responsible for ensuring financial clarity and stability during your interim tenure, partnering with teams across the company to deliver timely and accurate reporting.

You'll:



Deliver accurate monthly management accounts Calculate and report revenue recognition (IFRS15) Oversee sales and purchase ledger processes Lead and support a small finance team (3 people) Manage VAT returns and ensure HMRC compliance Partner with project managers on project cost tracking and forecasting Take ownership of cash flow reporting and working capital management Support monthly forecasting and budgeting processes

What you'll bring



Essentials:



Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) 1-2+ years' experience in management accounting Strong Excel and financial modelling skills Excellent attention to detail and time management Confident communicator who can explain financials clearly

Desirables:



Understanding of project costing, WIP, and IFRS15 Knowledge of CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) Experience with Sage200 Strong knowledge of UK VAT rules and compliance
