It starts with our people, which is why we need an Interim Marketing Activation and Operations Director to join our Marketing and Business Development team who will be responsible for the development of our go-to-market strategy, with a particular focus content, digital and strategic campaigns to elevate BCLP's brand, engage target audiences and drive client engagement. The role will also oversee Marketing Technology and Operations, including supporting the management of platforms, tools and software to help drive efficiencies, streamline operations and enhance marketing activities. The role will report to the CMO with collaboration across the Marketing and Business Development function.



You'll be responsible for:


Marketing




Strategy:

Develop and execute strategies for content, campaigns and digital

Brand:

Deliver a consistent and brand-enhancing experience across all client engagement working closely with the Brand & Design team

Innovate:

Support the Associate of Marketing Technology & Operations in the investigation and implementation of emerging technologies, innovations, new platforms and systems to optimize productivity and effectiveness

Competitors

: Monitor the competition and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge

Process:

Provide processes, workflows. guidance, support and leadership to delivery teams

Training:

Develop marketing activation training to share knowledge, enhance skills and embed best practice across the business

Team:

Lead and manage a team of marketing activation specialists

Stakeholder engagement

: Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business

Reporting and Analysis:

Track effectiveness and costs across campaigns, content and digital and report against agreed budgets and metrics

Campaigns




Campaign Agenda:

Create and drive a program of strategic campaigns in collaboration with colleagues across the business to leverage insights into key client issues and maximise opportunities for targeted engagement

Lifecycle:

Oversee the campaign lifecycle, from concept to execution and post-campaign analysis

Multi-channel marketing

: Blend different distribution and promotional channels to deliver integrated value-adding content and client propositions to enhance the client experience (CX)

Integration:

Work closely with the business development teams to integrate campaigns (content and digital) with client engagement strategies

Promotion:

Promote campaigns internally to foster engagement and develop an environment that encourages creativity and innovation

Content




Compelling content:

Collaborate with content creators/subject matter experts to develop compelling branded and tailored content including articles, blog posts, email campaigns, newsletters, thought leadership, white papers, website content and social media posts that resonate with target audiences and position BCLP as leader in prioritized practice and sector groups

Value proposition development:

Collaborate with Business Development colleagues and subject matter experts to identify, develop and promote internally and externally, client and market-led value propositions. Campaigns: Develop go-to-market campaigns around value propositions with the aim of enhancing the brand, increasing client engagement and generating revenue

Innovate

: Deliver content in creative, engaging formats including interactive, dynamic content - animations, graphics, images, infographics and videos

Collaborate:

Establish a firmwide "Content Committee" to collaborate, agree and prioritise content themes, topics, quality control, delivery and ownership

Repository

: Create a library of approved, best-practice content, branded templates, formats, graphics and images available to the business

Voice of the Client:

Capture client feedback/voice of the client (VoC) through user behaviour and action to continually improve engagement experience

Content calendar:

Create and manage a content/editorial calendar to ensure timely delivery of content and visibility to the business on activity

Digital Marketing




Unify the Digital Experience

: Actively collaborate across the business to deliver a connected and cohesive digital experience to target audiences across all digital platforms and interactions

Digital client journey

: Map, optimize and personalize the digital user journey, providing seamless transitions across platforms and timely touchpoints to arrive at defined calls-to-action

Digital Roadmap

: Collaborate to audit existing digital technologies and develop a Digital Roadmap to provide on-going enhancement to the client experience over the short, medium to long-term

Content marketing

: Create a content calendar to plan and prioritize digital content online

Email marketing

: With the wider team, develop integrated email campaigns to nurture leads and develop client relationships

Pay-Per-Click Advertising (PCC):

Consider use of PPC as part of fully integrated online content marketing strategies

Search Engine Optimization

(SEO) Monitor developments, provide key words, meta tags, headers, backlinks, etc., and educate the business to maximize exposure of content on online platforms

Social media:

Develop fully integrated social media strategies including relevant platforms and create a calendar of compelling, visually impactful, targeted content to engage with the online community.

Video

: Lead on the creation and promotion of video content for events, landing pages, reports, social media campaigns and testimonials

Website optimization

: Analyse website efficiency and usability - user journey, SEO, behavioural patterns and linkbacks to maximise impact

Horizon watching:

Stay on top of digital trends and continued advancements in digital marketing technologies and practices

MarTech and Operations




Oversee and support

the Associate Director, MarTech and Operations in the automation of marketing efforts

Track and analyze performance

, providing insights into campaign effectiveness, client behaviours and return on investment

Utilize CRM

to manage interactions and tract client engagement Collaborate on

platform integrations

- email, social media and website for a seamless experience

Skills and experience required




A marketing and operations expert, with significant demonstrable experience operating at a senior and strategic level within a high-profile, dynamic organization, ideally in a professional services or legal environment. Bachelor's degree in marketing, master's degree preferred Significant experience and strong track record of content marketing, digital and campaign strategy delivery in professional services, at global level Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize deliverables , meet deadlines, and manage multiple complex projects concurrently. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal abilities
