Interim Senior Credit Controller



Help play a key role in overseeing a debt ledger, helping and guiding practices, when required, across the UK and Ireland.

About the role





The Senior Credit Controller will join, on a fixed-term 12-month contract; to play a key role in overseeing a farm debt ledger of approx.1200 clients across a number of sites. This will include Business to Consumer and Business to Business debts


The person will also provide help and support (when required) with our suggested debt control process and legal requirements across practices within the UK group and Ireland.

What you will be doing



Managing end-to-end credit control for a large farm ledger, covering both B2C and B2B debts. Applying our terms and conditions correctly across different practices and jurisdictions. Identifying potential bad debt early and taking proportionate action. Working closely with Clinical Directors, Practice Managers, Business Development Directors and central teams including Legal, Regulatory and Data Protection. Preparing files for legal action and liaising with our preferred third-party debt collectors. Supporting aged debtor reviews and data cleansing Investigating unallocated cash, handling credit control queries, and producing month-end and ad-hoc reports.

What we are looking for



Experience of working in a credit control environment, ideally across the UK and Ireland Able to work independently using own initiative, make sound decisions, and perform effectively under pressure while maintaining confidentiality Familiar with the FCA guidelines for non-regulated businesses, the Pre-Action Protocol process and Breathing Space Familiar with sales ledger processes Excellent organisation skills and ability to multi-task Outstanding accuracy and attention to detail Professional, approachable, and tactful, with a diplomatic communication style Flexible, proactive team player with a strong can do attitude Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, Teams, and Zoom Educated to GCSE level including English and Maths (A-C / grade 4 or above)
