Job Description
The Interim Senior Financial Accountant will play a key role in managing financial reporting and compliance within the accounting and finance department.
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes efficiently.
- Provide technical accounting guidance to the finance team as needed.
- Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
- Monitor and improve financial controls and processes.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities as required.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide accurate financial insights.
A successful candidate should have:
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Experience in financial reporting and compliance within the FMCG industry.
- Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of relevant standards.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools.
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a temporary role within a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive daily rate of approximately 350 to 400, depending on experience.
