Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('SpinCo') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Over 300 shows and over 9,000 episodes are downloadable to watch-on-the-go, including Keeping Up With the Kardashians and its spin-offs - along with The Real Housewives, Below Deck and Million Dollar Listing franchises. The majority of US shows debut on the service the same day as their US launch.

Key Responsibilities




To oversee and manage areas including but not limited to:

P&L ownership and analysis for EMEA Networks & Hayu business, including subscriber modelling Monthly and quarterly financial analysis, variances and forecasting activities across OCF Identify risks and opportunities vs Budget and communicate early and effectively to Management Key financial NBCU cycles - Budget/ LRP and key estimates (April, July, October) Analysis of key digital metrics including churn and gross additions Marketing spend tracking and collaboration with Marketing team to accurately forecast spend Work with Product team to track and manage CAPEX Collation & submission of monthly Digital metrics Business partnering across Hayu and EMEA networks Presenting key numbers and analysis to senior leadership Management and development of FP&A Intern & Senior FP&A Analyst Support the simplification and automation projects for the FP&A processes Aiding synergies between Networks & Hayu business BPC forecasting and reporting system (budgeting tool) Support ad hoc analysis/projects as required


Qualifications

Basic Requirements:



Strong Financial planning and analysis skills Qualified CIMA / ACA / ACCA Accountant preferable, not essential Advanced knowledge & experience of Microsoft Office Experience with ERP systems such as SAP Quick learner who can work independently Ability to deliver on multiple assignments/meet tight deadlines Ability to adapt and work well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment Strong interpersonal skills/proactive approach Excellent oral and written communication skills Both FP&A and Controllership related skills and mind-set
