Lead statutory reporting and year-end audits for UK entities.
Manage consolidated financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP.
Act as a key stakeholder in SAP finance transformation initiatives and cross-functional projects.
Strengthen internal controls and implement best practices across the finance function.
Drive process improvements across revenue, billing, inventories, fixed assets, and accounts payable.
Review and oversee balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Provide guidance to the finance team on technical accounting matters, process improvements, and system enhancements.
Liaise with global finance teams on accounting issues and monthly processing.
Deliver ad hoc analysis and support senior management with financial insights.
Global Accounting Network are exclusively partnering with a rapidly growing global technology business who are looking for an interim Senior Statutory & Accounting Manager to join its Finance team. Reporting directly to the Accounting & Consolidation Director, this is a key role responsible for managing statutory reporting, regulatory compliance, and driving process improvements across the organisation's finance function. Skills/experience required:
Qualified accountant
Ideally Big 4 public accounting or audit firm experience
Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, and international accounting principles.
Experience in statutory reporting, audit processes, and technical accounting matters.
Proficiency in SAP S4 Hana and advanced Excel modelling skills preferred.
