Summary

A bespoke high-end residential studio is seeking an interior architect to join their team and studio in West London. The ideal candidate will have experience on-site, strong technical abilities, and excellent communication skills to grow and maintain relationships with consultants.

Job description:

  • The role will be focusing on interior design and planning from concept to completion.
  • All aspects of design including technical drawings, scheduling, and FF&E elements.
  • Attend site meetings with suppliers, contractors, and project managers.
  • Liaising with contractors to ensure the design and quality are executed as per specifications and of the highest standard.
  • Must have incredible proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Produce project costing schedules and budgets.
  • Liaise with Clients and external project teams. Must be an incredible communicator and confident with clients.
  • Excellent knowledge of materials and finishes
  • Leading and managing large high-end residential projects.
  • This role would be for someone legally eligible to work in the UK.
Skills necessary:
  • A degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
  • 3-8 years of experience in large-scale, luxury residential interior design.
  • Proven track record of completing luxury residential spaces.
  • Excellent technical understanding and technical drawing skills.
  • Ability to review technical drawings produced by junior designers.
  • Financial understanding of project costs and budget awareness.
  • Previous experience working on international retail projects.
  • Highly organized and proactive individual.
  • Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines.
  • Team player- must be able to work and collaborate well within a team.
  • Great eye for detail.
  • A passion for art and design.
  • Extensive procurement knowledge and skills.
  • Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Suite programs.
  • Previous on-site experience and the ability to liaise with consultants is a must-have.
