to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a dual-role position, ideal for someone who can combine a flair for interior design with hands-on project management skills. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions and managing construction or refurbishment projects from start to finish.
This role will involve working closely with clients, suppliers, contractors and other professionals to ensure every project runs smoothly, remains within budget and is completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Interior Design:
Develop concepts, mood boards, layout plans and 3D visuals to communicate design ideas
Select materials, furnishings, fixtures and finishes in line with design briefs and budgets
Prepare and present design proposals to clients
Keep up to date with current interior trends, sustainable materials and new design technologies
Project Management:
Plan and oversee construction, renovation or fit-out projects from initial brief to handover
Liaise with contractors, tradespeople, architects and local authorities
Monitor project timelines, budgets and quality standards
Conduct regular site visits and coordinate day-to-day operations
Ensure all work complies with building regulations, health & safety standards, and planning permissions where applicable
Required Skills & Qualifications
Degree (or equivalent) in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management or related field
Minimum 2+ years' experience in a similar role
Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
Strong communication and client-facing skills
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
Able to read and interpret technical drawings and construction documents
Knowledge of UK building regulations and construction standards
Desirable
Experience across both residential and commercial projects
Full UK driving licence (some site travel may be required)
