What you will do



The Intermediate Building Safety Consultant supports other consultants in delivering building regulations compliance across a range of projects. The role involves assisting with the coordination of design information, helping to identify building safety and compliance risks, and supporting the preparation and maintenance of building regulations documentation throughout the design stages. Working closely with other team members, you will help ensure regulatory requirements are understood and addressed by the wider design team.

Typical tasks include reviewing design information against building regulations, assisting with submissions to the Building Safety Regulator, supporting gateway processes, and helping to maintain accurate project records and compliance information. The role provides an opportunity to develop technical knowledge, regulatory understanding, and consultancy skills while contributing to the safe and compliant delivery of buildings under the guidance of more experienced consultants.

Who we are looking for



You may have studied construction management, building surveying, engineering, fire safety or a similar subject. You may be someone with experience in building surveying or architecture.

You will enjoy this role if you are curious about how buildings are designed, built and managed.
