Key Requirements





We are seeking a highly motivated and academically accomplished individual with a keen interest in developing a career in international arbitration.


Essential qualifications and attributes:




A recently completed

LLM

or qualification as a

junior lawyer

in any jurisdiction. A

strong academic record

from a leading institution. Demonstrable interest or experience in

international arbitration

, gained in a top-tier law firm, barristers' chambers, or other reputable legal setting. Exposure to

investment treaty

or

commercial arbitration

involving complex and high-value disputes (highly desirable). A clear intention to specialise in arbitration and a proven capacity to master complex legal and technical issues.

Fluent English

(spoken and written); additional language skills are highly advantageous.

legal research and drafting

ability with precision and clarity. Excellent

analytical skills

and sound legal judgement in both procedural and substantive matters. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with clients, experts, and opposing counsel. A high degree of

organisation

, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities to tight deadlines.



Role & Responsibilities





As an Intern, you will support the firm's lawyers in delivering high-quality legal work on complex international cases. You will work across teams and jurisdictions, gaining hands-on exposure to a wide range of legal and procedural matters.


Your responsibilities will include:




Conducting detailed

legal research

and preparing summaries, advice notes, and memoranda. Drafting

correspondence

, pleadings, and other arbitration documents under supervision. Assisting with the

preparation of witness and expert evidence

, including document review and analysis. Supporting lawyers in advising clients in relation to

commercial arbitration

,

investment treaty claims

, and

public international law

matters. Liaising with clients, tribunals,

witnesses and experts

, and opposing counsel as part of case preparation and hearing support.
