At Tom White, our Account Managers create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Internal Account Manager's role is responsible for the customer satisfaction and ongoing growth of the SME portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with all internal and external key stakeholders.
Increase volume, revenue and net revenue within the account base.
Responsible for retaining SME customers.
Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these.
Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the business.
Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement sales strategies.
Have an excellent understanding of the businesses' services and be able to advise others about them.
Liaise with the finance team, operations, and customer services as appropriate.
Foster and develop relationships with customers.
Create and manage a development pipeline to meet sales targets.
Negotiate pricing with customers.
Take ownership and responsibility of discrepancies, ensuring any discrepancies are handled quickly and professionally to an excellent standard.
Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management.
What are we looking for?
Proven track record in Business Development/Account Management.
Background in solution-based selling.
Commitment to delivering excellent customer service, with a genuine passion for helping customers and providing innovative solutions.
Experience managing pipeline and reporting.
An understanding of the importance of attaining revenue objectives.
Excellent people management skills and demonstrable relevant experience.
Strong analytical skills.
A high level of intellect, and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
An excellent team player, with a positive 'can do' attitude
Experience of updating CRM system for pipeline management.
A flexible approach to changing priorities, with the ability to manage and prioritise your workload.
