In other organisations, this role might be known as an In-house Agency Lead, Studio Lead or Head of Studio, among others, ultimately, you\xe2\x80\x99ll head up and inspire the internal agency to effectively drive, develop and manage Marketing Services for Sainsbury\xe2\x80\x99s Bank.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll lead the planning, development and delivery of all Sainsbury\xe2\x80\x99s Bank creative across all marketing channels for brand, acquisition, existing customers and owned channels. You\xe2\x80\x99ll lead a team of creative specialists as well as the account managers team to deliver to these requirements.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll work together with the Marketing, Digital, Commercial and Internal Comms teams to ensure creative and brand deliver to key customer metrics. You\xe2\x80\x99ll also work closely with colleagues in Sainsbury\xe2\x80\x99s Group to enhance the brand integration.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing

\xc2\xb7 Leading and inspiring the internal agency team, ensuring they understand our brand values, our strategic direction and priorities, along with their part in driving our success and forging their own professional careers.

\xc2\xb7 Working closely with the broader Marketing and Customer teams to help formulate the annual marketing strategies and plans, in turn providing compelling creative for campaigns across all marketing and owned channels, to help us meet and exceed targets.

\xc2\xb7 Managing and building close working relationships with industry partners such as Meta, to provide best-in-class digital content. You\xe2\x80\x99ll also manage external agencies, working closely with our Supply team to ensure cost effectiveness and service levels.

\xc2\xb7 Ensuring cross- channel campaign performance analysis or PIRs are shared with the team to enable them to continually improve and refine comms/marketing material for optimum impact.

\xc2\xb7 You\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for 2 areas;

o Creative Services - Running an internal agency of Creative Designers, Artworkers, an Email Specialist and a Copywriter who provide creative solutions for both internal and external stakeholders. These could include digital content, instore/POS, email, above the line and on-page web assets.

o Collaborating closely with Brand to ensure that our work clearly aligns with our guidelines, drives brand awareness and delivers our creative strategy.

o Liaising with DX/CX and SEO teams to develop designs and content that will engage both customer and colleagues.

o Ensuring that we continually push the boundaries, evolving creative across multiple channels, and that we liaise with Conduct & Compliance/Legal to ensure that we know how to do this appropriately.

o Account Management - Providing a central account management function that will manage and co-ordinate the delivery of work into, and from, Internal agency, external agencies and Web Publishing services.

o The Account team will use a best practice approach to co-ordinating the delivery of work, acting as the lynchpin between departments, teams and internal clients, to ensure that all projects are prioritised appropriately and delivered on time, on budget and to spec. This requires a full understanding of campaign requirements, priorities and marketing plans. The team may also be asked to lead a virtual project team or work on a standalone project, requiring broad marketing skill sets and experience.

What you need to know and show

\xc2\xb7 Digital platform experience.

\xc2\xb7 Thorough understanding of the legal and regulatory issues associated with Financial Services promotions.

\xc2\xb7 Customer-focused.

\xc2\xb7 Strong relationship management skills. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be a proven leader in a matrix management organisation and will have the ability to influence at a Senior Management and Executive level. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be able to challenge effectively, provoke new thinking, driving progress and change.

\xc2\xb7 Well-organised and able to prioritise workload in line with tight deadlines, working effectively under pressure.

\xc2\xb7 Project management skills in complex multi-functional projects.

\xc2\xb7 You must be able to engage with colleagues in a collaborative and constructive manner by posing the right questions and be able to represent/understand the perspective of all internal and external stakeholders.
