We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Internal Assurance Manager to strengthen our finance operations through enhanced structure, controls, and data integrity. This role will play a critical part in safeguarding the accuracy and completeness of financial data while supporting scalable processes for a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Working closely with Finance, Systems, and FP&A teams, you will ensure robust controls are embedded and maintained across our financial systems, particularly NetSuite.

What you'll do:



Design and implement scalable finance structures and controls to improve the integrity of financial data and reporting processes. Drive enhancements to the monthly close process, ensuring it becomes faster, cleaner, and more reliable. Take ownership of key process areas, including risk assessment, controls documentation, flowcharts, and process narratives. Ensure all financial transactions are clean, well-tagged, and documented, enabling consistency and transparency. Operate closely behind fast-moving teams to identify and correct control gaps or data issues in real time. Lead NetSuite optimisation projects and ensure strong financial controls frameworks are built into enterprise systems, improving functionality and efficiency. Project manage system enhancement rollouts, including testing and validation of control effectiveness before deployment. Ensure data accuracy and completeness across interconnected systems, including finance and operational platforms. Build and maintain a control testing schedule, documenting outcomes and ensuring regular reviews are performed. Partner with internal Systems/IT teams to co-design finance workflows and system requirements that support effective controls. Regularly report on control gaps, opportunities, and comfort levels, offering practical, scalable recommendations. Collaborate with Accounting and FP&A to align NetSuite configuration and data input structures with their reporting and insight needs.

What you'll need



ACA / ACCA qualified or equivalent, with a strong background in financial controls, audit, or internal assurance. Solid understanding of financial close processes, systems controls, and finance operations in a growing business. Experience working with ERP systems (preferably NetSuite) and improving their functionality from a controls and process perspective. Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong appreciation for data accuracy, completeness, and documentation. Demonstrated ability to project manage system/process improvements, including change control and validation testing. Strong communicator who can build cross-functional relationships and translate technical needs into operational improvements.

It would be great if you have



Experience in a scale-up or high-growth environment where finance processes are evolving. Familiarity with large company, international controls frameworks, internal audit and risk environments Experience supporting Accounting, FP&A, data analytics or business intelligence teams through improved systems integration and data quality
