Job Description


Here at GXO, we\'re recruiting for an Internal Auditor to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis to be based at our offices in London.

You\'ll perform internal audits and special projects by providing independent, objective assurance, education, and consulting services to promote an effective control environment. You will collaborate with the audit team to identify and assess the risk areas to be reviewed. You\'ll be joining a growing, global internal audit team and you\'ll play a key role in supporting GXO\'s Internal Audit agenda.

We\'re looking to offer a salary of up to \xc2\xa350,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you\'ll do on a typical day:

  • Perform the audit activities, including participating in the audit scope objectives and other audit procedures and tests
  • Document audit work in accordance with departments, company, and Institute of Internal Auditors Standards to support audit findings and recommendations
  • Monitor audit findings and recommendations and appropriate action plans
  • Apply critical thinking whilst developing audit programs and performing audit procedures
  • Manage and test SOX controls
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Minimum Required Education: recently qualified accountant or studying for a relevant professional qualification (ACCA, ACA or CIA), B.Sc. in Finance or Accounting
  • Proven experience working within internal audit
  • Experience in conducting audit projects as well as SOX testing
  • French or Spanish speaking language would be desirable
