Role Overview:



We're looking for a driven salesperson who thrives in a dynamic setting and is eager to shape their future alongside ours. Whether you're already in sales within the lighting industry or transitioning from a strong B2B customer service background, this role offers the freedom to make a real impact.

You will be confident and proactive in engaging with a wide range of clients, including Electrical Wholesalers, Electrical Contractors, Fit-Out Companies, Facilities Management Firms, and Housing Associations. Your role will involve identifying new business opportunities and cultivating long-term relationships that contribute to sustained growth.

In addition to developing new partnerships, you will be responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of over 100 existing accounts. These accounts vary significantly in size and purchasing behavior--from clients spending 100 per month on a single product to those spending up to 10,000 monthly across a diverse range. A key focus will be to increase engagement and spend among lower-tier accounts while maximizing value and product uptake from high-performing clients.

Lighting industry knowledge is highly desired, as it will help you hit the ground running and contribute meaningfully from day one. However, full training will be provided for the right candidate.

You will enjoy full autonomy in managing your schedule and selecting target sectors, which will include a diverse mix of the areas outlined above. You will be responsible for developing your own annual strategic plan and will be held accountable for its execution and outcomes. Collaboration will be key, as you will work closely with our External Sales Team and Marketing Department to ensure alignment and successful implementation of your initiatives.

Handling inbound customer enquiries is a key aspect of the role, including preparing accurate quotations, logging all interactions within the CRM system, and ensuring prompt follow-up to uphold excellent customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:



- Proactively seek and develop new client relationships, expanding our customer base and increasing turnover.

- Confidently approach and engage with Electrical Wholesalers, Electrical Contractors, Fit Out Companies, Facilit Management Companies, and Housing Associations.

- Build rapport with clients at all levels--from branch managers to buyers and counter staff.

- Maintain and grow existing accounts, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.

- Coordinate with operations and warehouse teams for timely deliveries.

- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

- Collaborate with the Sales Director to execute strategies aligned with business goals.

- Prepare quotations, price lists, and promotional materials.

- Log interactions and opportunities in the CRM system.

- Monitor performance, prepare reports, and provide insights to improve effectiveness.

- Stay informed on competitor products and pricing.

- Work with marketing and product teams to align strategies and share client feedback.

- Support field sales with account insights and follow-ups.

- Participate in sales meetings and product training sessions.

Essential Skills & Experience



- Sales or customer service experience, ideally with long-term B2B client relationships.

- Excellent communication skills across all levels.

- Self-motivated, proactive, and creative in winning new business

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Comfortable with autonomy and preparing reports and plans.

- Confident outbound caller.

Desirable Skills & Experience



- Experience engaging with Electrical Wholesalers, Contractors, FM Companies, and similar sectors.

- Knowledge of the Lighting sector.

- Lighting Design

- Has Knowledge of doing Energy Saving Calculations
