LV= GI Internal Communications team are expanding and currently seeking an Internal Communications Executive to support with our ambitious business agenda. The core purpose of the role is designing and delivering the communications plan for LV= GI across all business units. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has got strong experience dealing with different stakeholder groups. Our team is looking for an IC Executive who understands the communication dynamic and preferences of different internal customers and will be able to take part in creation of high quality written communications content, ensuring that it goes in line with LV= GIs values. In our team, no day is the same and your responsibilities will vary, so you will need to juggle priorities and to work with stakeholders regularly and effectively. About you

So who are we looking for? We are seeking a true Internal Communications expert; someone who is passionate about discovering new communication avenues and testing their suitability to our campaigns; from D&I, to brand, culture and values. The most powerful thing about LV= is our brand and internally, you will the true engineer behind our Tone of Voice strategy. We pride ourselves in two-way communication style, where engagement takes priority; so naturally, we are seeking a strong writer who will demonstrate similar values. When it comes to previous experience, ideally you’ll have previous exposure to the following channels: intranet, employee apps, video, email, live events, virtual live events. Our team operates in a very dynamic and ever changing environment so you will have a good understanding of the agile spirit of the team. There will be a lot of autonomy in the role; however you will need to have a good understanding of your stakeholder groups and company structure to be able to engage with relevant people to achieve your goals. As you will be managing communications about different insurance products, ideally you’ll come from financial services background; however don’t worry if you don’t have that under your belt. Our team will make sure that we’re setting up each individual for success and so relevant training will be provided. In addition, we’re ideally looking for the below skills & experience
  • Excellent standards of written English with proven ability to tailor language used to meet needs of different targeted audiences
  • Strong flair for creative writing and proof reading skills with an excellent understanding and application of LV= tone of voice
    • Relevant experience of working in internal communications
    • Excellent knowledge and application of internal communications theory and best practice
    • Advanced Word and PowerPoint skills; strong Excel skills
    • Demonstrable self-starter with ability to work on own initiative
    • Resourceful with proven experience of identifying problems and delivering solutions
    • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise effectively
