We are currently recruiting for an Internal Communications Manager to join our established and experienced team here at RSA on a hybrid basis.

Your role



The Internal Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and executing internal communication strategies that keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with RSAs strategic objectives, goals and values.



This role requires a strong thinker with excellent writing and interpersonal skills, and a passion for creating engaging content that will resonate across diverse audiences.



Key Responsibilities:


Develop and implement comprehensive internal communication strategies that align with RSAs objectives and foster a positive organisational culture. Create and deliver high-quality, engaging content for various internal communication channels, including emails, newsletters, intranet, presentations, and videos. Provide guidance, training (with support from HR) and critically regular tool kits and cascades of materials and messaging to managers and leaders to help them be better at communicating to their people Plan and execute internal events, such as town halls, employee recognition programs, and other company-wide meetings. (this role is not about supporting individual business units or teams). Manage internal communications during times of change or crisis, ensuring employees are informed and supported. Work closely with teams, and especially the EA/PA network to ensure cohesive and consistent messaging across the organisation. Look to set up a communications champion network to help with this.


About you



You will be an experienced internal communications professional with proven experience at a managerial level. Ideally you will have a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, you bring both strategic thinking and expertise to the role.



You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with a high level of empathy--enabling you to handle sensitive topics with care and clarity. Your storytelling and content creation abilities help bring messages to life.



You will be comfortable working with a range of digital communication tools--whether it's intranets, email platforms, or collaboration tools--you're also highly organised, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
