Job summary
You will lead and execute the effective delivery of a high-performing multi-channel internal communication service, overseeing a number of projects, campaigns and tactical activity aimed at engaging and informing colleagues and partners. Inspiring a small team of creative internal communicators, you will devise, implement and evaluate strategic internal communications and engagement plans encompassing employee experience, embedding business priorities and supporting the delivery of our business transformation programme, aligned to NS&I's values.
You will commission and develop diverse (digital and traditional) content to communicate NS&I's strategy and drive positive colleague and partner engagement as we transform and continuously improve our business. Be accountable for internal events, enabling employees with collaborative digital technology and will help enable NS&I leaders.

Person specification
Essential experience
Experience of managing an internal communications function, preferably with line management experience.
Varied experiencing in commissioning, creating and evaluating multi-channel communications
Experience of actively managing senior stakeholders
Experience of communicating through periods of change or transformation
Essential skills
Good writing and storytelling skills, particularly delivering engaging copy to tight deadlines
Clear and effective presentation creation and delivery skills - including to significant stakeholders and large audiences
Expertise in overseeing digital and creative production
Expertise in social media planning, strategy and content creation, including LinkedIn and Meta platforms
Videography, editing and production skills
Ability to plan and stage large scale employee briefing events (for c. 300 people).
Essential technical knowledge
Knowledge of intranet development and digital collaboration technology /enterprise social networks

If shortlisted, you will be invited to attend a 1 hour panel interview at our London office.
As part of this interview you will be asked to make a 10 minute presentation aimed at demonstrating your experience and skills in storytelling, project design and internal campaign management.
Interviews will take place on 13th and 14th November 2025.
