This role is based at Northampton but we're flexible on a mix of home and office working.Key elements of this role include creating engaging communications that promote and embed our organisational values and behaviors based around our ?EUR~Thrive?EUR(TM) agenda of Trust, High performance, Respect, Innovate, Value and Empower.Campaigns will range from promoting diversity, wellbeing and recognition, to service change programmes, including the roll out of new technology, processes and supporting wider council strategies. The role also involves developing our range of internal communication channels - from news alerts and intranet management to vlogs and roadshows.You will need:

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to help drive change and build upon staff morale and wellbeing
  • Proven skills and experience in delivering internal communications campaigns and working with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications and an ability to quickly learn new platforms and applications
  • A proactive, flexible and enthusiastic attitude and able to contribute new ideas to the team
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise and deliver upon a busy workload to tight deadlines.
