Internal Controls Analyst

As an Internal Controls Analyst, you will have the opportunity to shape the direction of our journey for Internal Controls across key business areas including, Finance, Legal, Compliance, ESG, Operations and more. This is a key role in the development and maturity of IVC Evidensia.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Working with management to ensure controls are designed appropriately
Perform control testing through-out the year to validate control performance
Work on project teams to ensure controls are appropriately considered and built into any new process or change area
Help ensure implementation of external audit control points
Help the Internal Controls Manager drive the implementation of key priorities to enhance the control environment
Work with Internal Audit to ensure alignment on work and audit recommendations
Identify better ways of working and help the Internal Controls team evolve into a best in class function

Experience/Qualifications:
Essential:
Experienced in understanding the design and testing of Internal Controls with a focus on mitigating the key risks to the process / business area.
Commercially aware and ensures control design is suitable for the company.
Outstanding relationship management capability, including working confidently with management at all levels.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage competing deadlines, prioritising work to meet deadlines.
Basic understanding of the Corporate Governance code and it's requirements.
Proactive, can-do attitude
Fluent in English
Desirable:
Enthusiastic, confident and a team player
Positive and open personality, with drive and self-motivation and a continuous improvement focus
Good problem solving, analytical and project management experience and proven track record of managing complex projects / initiatives including planning, organising, managing projects and delivering within agreed timelines
Curious, with a desire to learn
