About the role:

Powys County Council is looking for a Training Officer for its Corporate training team. The position is up to 37 hours, but as the remit is a varied one, we would be open to discussions on other working patterns, such as job sharing. If you feel that you can deliver any of the training outlined in the job description, then we would love to hear from you.

About you:

You will be a versatile trainer who can inspire, engage, and make a direct impact on developing the workforce in order that they can provide our customers with the best possible service

What you will do:

  • Support the Organisation Design and Development team to achieve the objectives of the Corporate Strategic and Equality Plan and the People and Organisation Development Strategy.
  • Develop a culture and leadership framework, supporting and maximising the performance and effectiveness of the workforce
  • Deliver teaching, learning and developing individuals\xe2\x80\x99 skills across all services within the organisation, both face to face and through digital platforms;
  • Deliver a suite of training courses to external customers;
  • Engage in partnership working on the design, facilitation and delivery of joint initiatives.
