The Internal Recruiter will play a critical role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent within the organisation. This individual will partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Duties
Partner with Hiring Managers:
Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing requirements, develop job descriptions, and define the ideal candidate profile.
Source Candidates:
Utilise various sourcing methods, including social media, job boards, and employee referrals, to identify qualified candidates.
Screening Candidates:
Review resumes and applications, conduct phone interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications against job requirements.
Schedule Interviews:
Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Conduct Interviews:
Conduct in-depth interviews with candidates to assess their skills, experience, and cultural fit.
Extend Offers:
Extend job offers to selected candidates and negotiate terms and conditions.
Onboarding:
Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new hires have the necessary information and resources to succeed.
Talent Acquisition Strategy:
Contribute to the development and implementation of the organisation's overall talent acquisition strategy.
Employer Branding:
Promote the company as an employer of choice through effective branding and marketing efforts.
Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in recruiting, preferably in-house
Strong understanding of recruitment methodologies and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates
Proficiency in using recruitment tools
Strong organisational and time management skills
Experience with employer branding and social media recruiting (preferred)
Knowledge of diversity and inclusion best practices (preferred)
