Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Internal Sales Assistant to join our sales team. This role involves engaging with potential customers, supporting sales processes, and enhancing the overall customer experience. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for sales, and experience in construction environments.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers both in-person and over the phone to address sales inquiries promptly and professionally. Conduct cold calling to generate new leads and expand customer base Work collaboratively with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets. Maintain a deep understanding of our product offerings to provide accurate information and recommendations to customers Assist in restocking inventory, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring the sales floor is organized. Build and nurture relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business. Operate computer-based sales systems efficiently; training will be provided as needed. Support other branch activities as required, such as stock control and counter assistance. Engage in marketing activities to promote the Company across digital platforms Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining professional phone etiquette and clear communication skills

Experience

Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within a retail or sales environment. Strong communication skills with a friendly and customer-focused demeanour. Ability to work effectively in a team environment to achieve common goals. Familiarity with sales processes and comfortable handling telephone inquiries. Basic computer proficiency: training will be provided for specific systems. Proactive attitude towards achieving sales targets and delivering excellent service.
