Controlaccount provides a range of credit management and debt recovery services to help our clients improve cashflow within their business. Reporting into the New Business Sales Manager, the Internal Sales Consultant will be focussed on securing incoming B2B business, primarily via cold and warm telephone calling. You will have autonomy to work your own target sectors and build and nurture your own pipeline. You will also be provided warm leads brought in by our extensive marketing channels. You will contribute to an overall group target, with other team members.
Primary Job Functions
Establishing new business through telephone relationships
Grow and develop existing accounts - understanding our clients' needs and recognising where they may benefit from any of our additional services
Nurturing marketing leads
A full understanding of all our debt recovery associated products and services
Dealing with SMEs, and not-for-profits
Preparing quotes and proposals
Maintaining accurate records via our CRM and managing diary
Working with the wider sales team to achieve monthly and annual targets to help the business meet its goals
Working to KPIs set by the New Business Sales Manager
Other skills required
The ability to work under own initiative but also able to work as part of a team
Personable and quick thinking, with a professional and positive attitude
Minimum two years' experience with B2B outbound calling and new business generation
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
Target orientated and experience of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
A strong drive and determination to succeed
Strong organisation and administration skills
