Role Description



This full-time role as an Internal Sales Coordinator is based in Southampton, with the flexibility to work from home on occasion. The primary responsibilities include managing inside sales activities, processing orders, and providing excellent customer service.

The role also involves maintaining clear communication with clients, identifying sales opportunities, and supporting the external sales team to meet business goals.

Day-to-day tasks will require close collaboration with team members to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient operations.

Qualifications



Inside Sales and Sales skills to manage and close opportunities effectively Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to foster positive relationships with clients Experience with Order Processing to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment Proficiency in basic office tools and CRM systems is advantageous Ability to work independently, organise tasks effectively, and meet deadlines Familiarity with the welding or industrial supply industry a bonus.

Responsibilities



Assist the sales team in preparing proposals, quotations, and contracts to ensure timely delivery to clients Coordinate meetings, appointments, and follow-ups with clients and internal departments Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client information, and order processing within the CRM system Support the organisation of promotional events and product launches to enhance brand visibility Respond promptly to customer enquiries via email, phone, or face-to-face interactions Monitor sales targets and assist in generating reports to track progress against objectives Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns Provide administrative support including filing, data entry, and document management

Qualifications



Proven experience in a sales support or administrative role is desirable but not essential Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanour Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities Previous experience in customer service or client-facing roles is advantageous
