Internal Sales Executive

Job Description

We're looking for a proactive, commercially hungry Internal Sales Executive to join Storm Building Products -- one of the UK's leading suppliers of specialist building materials. You'll be the engine room of our sales operation, working on lead generation, lead qualification, booking sales representatives visits and supporting our external team to close.

This is not a "sit and wait" role -- we want someone who lives to chase opportunities and can think on their feet.

Key Responsibilities



Lead Generation: Source, research and identify potential customers across our core sectors.

Prospecting: Reach out mainly via phone, email, LinkedIn -- whatever works -- to spark meaningful conversations.

Qualifying Leads: Quickly assess whether a prospect has the potential, budget, and authority to buy.

Sales Handover: Book appointments for and pass warm leads to our field sales team with full briefing and context.

Customer Retention: Maintain relationships with existing clients to spot upselling/cross-selling opportunities.

Sample Handling: Send product samples to customers and follow up for feedback.

CRM Discipline: Keep the pipeline clean, updated, and forecastable.

Teamwork: Work closely with marketing and external sales to keep momentum on campaigns and target accounts.

What You'll Bring



Previous experience in B2B sales or lead generation (building products or construction sector a bonus).

Proven ability to meet and exceed KPIs.

Solid phone manner and written comms.

CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or similar).

A genuine interest in building products, construction or manufacturing sectors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 29,257.00-33,999.00 per year
