About the Role



Join our dynamic Cleaning & Hygiene team at Forward Products! This role offers a blend of administrative support and consultative sales, allowing you to build lasting relationships with educational institutions while supporting our Business Development Manager (BDM). Your main objectives will be:

Providing sales administration support to the BDM, enabling her to focus on high-quality customer meetings. Engaging with existing customers to retain and expand business, addressing any reduction in spend and product gaps. Delivering world-class customer service to customers by efficiently assisting with inbound cleaning and hygiene enquiries and advising customers of the best solutions to their needs.

Responsibilities- including but not limited to:



Appointment Scheduling: Book face-to-face meetings for the BDM with schools, focusing on those with 400+ pupils or SEN schools with 50+ pupils. Sales Administrative Support: Manage the BDM's Outlook inbox and calendar to facilitate timely communications. Quotation Management: Prepare and send tailored quotes and recommendations promptly, ensuring they align with customer requirements. Customer Engagement: Make routine outbound telesales calls to establish customers with 400+ pupils / SEN schools with 50+ pupils, aiming to:
- Address drop-offs & ensure dispenser loan agreements are honoured.
- Promote additional product groups.
- Set up standing orders wherever possible.

Inbound Phone Calls: Field inbound customer phone calls and enquiries, assisting them with enquiries and advising them of the best solutions to their needs. Order Processing: forward orders to the Customer Service team for processing. Agreement Management: Arrange free-on-loan dispenser agreements via DocuSign and liaise with Operations for dispenser installations. KPI Tracking: Enter weekly KPIs into the Ninety system and attend Monday morning sales meetings. Team Collaboration: Provide cover for team members and assist with other sales duties as needed.
Note: As our product range is broad and customers' requirements are often not immediately apparent, you will collaborate closely with the BDM to determine the best solutions before sending out quotes.

Required Skills & Qualities



Sales Experience: Minimum of 3 years in sales or telesales (B2B preferred). Industry Knowledge: Experience in the Cleaning & Hygiene industry is highly advantageous, providing faster onboarding and credibility with customers (but not essential). Consultative Sales Approach: Comfortable with advisory sales, helping customers make informed decisions rather than hard selling. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to Detail: High accuracy when recording customer pricing and information. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Outlook. Team Player: Energetic, enthusiastic, and a strong team collaborator. KPIs



Book 6 Cleaning & Hygiene Review appointments per week for BDM. Send set-up quotes to customers within 24 hours of the initial visit. Respond to inbound emails/quote requests within 2 hours (immediately where possible). Routine outbound telesales calls to established customers every term.

Working Arrangements



Working hours: 9 am - 4 pm Monday to Friday, working from Bromsgrove offices, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Term-time only contract: You will be required to work 39 weeks per year between September and July. Provided you work 39 weeks between September and July, you are not required to work during school holidays, including half-term holidays. 6-month probation period. Laptop provided.

Salary



Package: The role attracts a 28,000 basic salary, with an OTE of 34,000 if bonuses are achieved. Bonuses: Apply from month 2:
- 250 / month when the Cleaning & Hygiene team hits the sales target at a minimum GM level of 33%
- 250 / month when the appointment booking target is hit.
