What we do

We are a small company comprising of 21 employees, specialising in aluminium stock-holding and associated engineering products. We are based just off the Felling Bypass in Gateshead. We distribute and manufacture products for the truck bodybuilding and engineering markets, with plans to diversify over the next two years. This is a varied and interesting role within a busy but friendly sales office, dealing mainly with long term established customers who value our excellent service and support.

We are seeking an enthusiastic experienced Internal Sales Executive to help us achieve our growth strategy. You will be required to develop, maintain and pro-actively seek new customers and build positive relationships with our supplier base. Experience of using IT systems would be a requirement although training would be given on our internal stock and sales software, you would also be required to input sales and purchase orders along with following up sales quotes and leads.

Knowledge

Ideally come from a technical sales background

Ability to handle telephone sales and enquiries

Engineering/Fabrication Background (Desirable)

Aluminium/Steel Stock-Holding knowledge (Desirable)

Salary depending on experience

Annual Bonus after qualifying period - Public Holidays - No Weekends

Holidays - 20 Days per Year, but after 1 continuous year of service this is increased to 25 Days.

Working Hours - 39 Hours Per Week

Mon - Thursday 7:30 A.M - 4:00 P.M

Friday 7:30 A.M - 3:00 P.M
