As we continue to expand rapidly, we are looking for a motivated, well-spoken and driven Internal Sales Representative to join our commercial team and help shape our continued success.
About the Role
As an Internal Sales Representative, you will be at the heart of our sales operations, developing new leads, building strong customer relationships, and helping drive revenue growth. You will work closely with our marketing and product teams to understand customer needs, promote relevant solutions, and convert enquiries into sales. While this is primarily an internal, office-based role, we are open to the successful candidate making in-person customer visits where appropriate, if they are confident and comfortable doing so.
Key Responsibilities
Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential clients, and following up on leads
Understanding customer needs and identifying sales opportunities
Answering enquiries and sending additional information by email
Creating and maintaining a database of current and prospective customers
Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services
Staying informed about competing products and services
Upselling products and services where appropriate
Researching and qualifying new leads
Closing sales and achieving sales targets
Requirements
Some prior knowledge of the electronics industry or experience dealing with customers in the electronics sector
Previous experience in an outbound call centre or related sales role (preferred)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software such as Zoho
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask
Confident phone manner and effective cold calling skills
Strong customer service and listening abilities
Competitive, goal-oriented attitude with a focus on closing deals
