The Role
OFFICIALLY - You'll be working in Sales & Commercial Support.
Lead Qualification - Qualify and track leads to support the business pipeline.
Order Management- Supporting with order entry, scheduling and coordination.
Customer Liaison - Act as a nexus between all areas of the business to ensure customers have access to answers quickly.
Account Support - Managing customer accounts, including relationship management and compliant handling.
Compliance - Support our quality efforts by managing technical and compliance documentation.
Materials Testing and Quality Control - Assess new materials, follow up on samples sent to customers and support quality control testing.
After-Sales Support - Follow up with new and existing customers and suppliers to ensure we are exceeding expectations.
UNOFFICIALLY - You'll be learning how a multi-million-pound recycling business operates from the inside out -- sales, operations, customer relationships, problem-solving and probably a bit of controlled chaos.
You will speak to customers. You will solve problems. You will learn about the materials. You will get things wrong and bounce back fast. You will be trusted with responsibility and autonomy, but there is support when you need it, and we'll solve problems together.
At times, you will be asked to help with activities beyond your normal remit when we are under pressure or people are on holiday.
If you're the type who prefers a clearly defined job box, this may not be the role for you.
We work from our head office 5 days a week. We are a close-knit team. Communication and teamwork are core to our recipe for success. Longer-term flexibility may be offered, but let's not get ahead of ourselves yet.

What Are We Looking For
You don't need experience in recycling or polymers; we can teach you that. You do need to be able to evidence proactivity, motivation and attitude.
Commercial acumen: You may have worked in sales and are motivated by finding solutions for customers that help them and make us money in the process.
Self-motivation: You will want to dive in headfirst and drive the business forward day-to-day, week-to-week, without someone looking over your shoulder.
A bit of backbone: We want you to stand up for yourself and your ideas.
Organisation: A weird love for lists, order and detail (you'll be surprised how much that helps here)
You're probably not the finished article yet. Good -- neither are we. We're looking for someone to grow with us, not to just "do the job."
Everything else is nice to have.
