Glennon Brothers supplies both the Irish and UK markets with products for the construction, pallet wood and fencing industries. It has 912 employees with plants in Troon, Irvine, Invergordon and Edinburgh in the UK, and Longford, Fermoy, and Enniskillen in Ireland. As the company prepares for continued growth and investment in Ireland and the UK, Glennon Brothers is now expanding its sales team to appoint an Internal Salesperson based at our Windymains facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Engaging with existing customers through proactive phone calls, building strong relationships. Working closely with the Internal Sales Manager to achieve sales targets. Handling customer queries efficiently, ensuring excellent service and problem resolution. Managing sales records and administrative tasks to support the sales process.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

This position would suit a person with a minimum of 2 years sales experience. A college/university qualification would be an advantage, but is not essential.

The ideal candidate will have:

A passion for sales and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Permanent, full-time role On-site: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
