Internal Sales Representative

to join our busy and expanding team at our Tattenhall branch.

About the Role:

As an Internal Sales Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing expert advice, processing orders, and building strong relationships. You will play a crucial role in driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Responding to customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing accurate product information and pricing. Processing sales orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely delivery. Supporting the external sales representative with customer quotations Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new customers. Providing quotations and following up on sales leads. Proactively identifying sales opportunities and promoting relevant products. Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge and staying informed about industry trends.

About You:

Proven experience in an internal sales role, ideally within the building materials or construction industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a confident and professional telephone manner. Strong sales acumen and a target-driven approach. Excellent product knowledge of building materials and supplies (or a strong willingness to learn). Strong IT skills, including experience with order processing systems. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. A proactive and positive attitude with a strong work ethic. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
