Our specialist timber branch offers a wide range of products, including sawn and milled timber, treated timber, made to order timber and bespoke timber services.

A builders' merchant is a company which supplies materials to the construction sector.
Up to 85% of the built environment you see around you is supplied by Britain's builders' merchants. Merchants and the supply chain are crucial to the construction industry which contributes over 40 billion to the UK economy each year. Hours:
40 hours per week to be worked between 8:00am - 4:30pm from Monday to Friday. No weekend working.

Duties:
Dealing with sales and general customer enquiries
Being responsible for the pro-active development of specified customer accounts
Giving prices and quotations
Processing orders
Arranging deliveries
General sales office administration
Liaison with external representatives
Experience & Required Skills
The ability to develop new business accounts, build excellent customer relationships, maximise profitable opportunities and consistently deliver a first class customer service
Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills
Confident selling skills
Good IT skills, (Excel, Outlook and Word especially), and excellent paperwork efficiency
The ability to multitask, to prioritise tasks wisely and complete them in a timely manner
The ability to grasp new systems quickly and follow company procedures and instructions accurately, thoroughly and methodically (training will be given in our products and systems)
General enthusiasm, confidence, reliability and versatility
