We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Internal Sales Estimator
to join our sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy sales office environment, enjoys building strong customer relationships while keeping teamworking in a collaborative environment , and has a keen eye for technical and administrative detail.
Key Responsibilities
Process accurate technical quotations, amend orders, and manage customer jobs through internal systems.
Act as the first point of contact for incoming calls and enquiries, providing advice and excellent customer service (no cold calls).
Build and maintain strong relationships with key and dormant accounts, proactively chasing quotes to secure orders.
Communicate clearly with customers regarding lead times, pricing changes, deliveries and order updates.
Read, clean and amend technical drawings in line with internal processes.
Manage recut, credit and query requests, gathering relevant data for internal review, following the process given.
Maintain accurate records across customer systems, MRP and auditing documentation.
Support delivery and courier queries, raising claims and escalating major issues where required.
Monitor personal and shared inboxes, prioritising workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Support internal projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Work towards individual and team performance targets, including conversion rates and quote activity.
