International Accounting Specialist

We are looking for a highly qualified

International Accounting Specialist

to join our global team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing accounting activities in an international environment, with a strong understanding of international tax and accounting regulations. They will be responsible for managing financial transactions of foreign subsidiaries, reconciling international accounts, and supporting global accounting closing operations.

Main Responsibilities:

Manage the accounting of foreign subsidiaries and international transactions (invoices, payments, collections). Ensure the correct application of international accounting regulations. Process and reconcile bank accounts and cross-border transactions. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closures at an international level. Handle international tax documentation and assist in preparing tax returns across multiple jurisdictions. Coordinate with local legal and tax teams to ensure compliance with local and international regulations. Prepare financial reports and analyse the economic performance of foreign subsidiaries. Collaborate with external and internal auditors for audits and compliance checks.

Requirements:

Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. At least 3-5 years of experience in an international accounting role or a multinational environment. Strong knowledge of international accounting regulations and global tax practices. Experience with international accounting software, particularly QuickBooks. Excellent proficiency in Italian and English (both written and spoken); knowledge of additional languages is a plus. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to manage global teams. Knowledge of transport, logistics, customs clearance, duties, and delivery terms (Incoterms). Understanding of financial instruments, including guarantees, sureties, and other financial risk management tools. Full right to work in the UK. Ability to commute daily to our office in South London, Wimbledon.
