About the Programme



iCAP is Chubb's launchpad for high-potential talent, blending skills-based learning, real-world challenges, and senior mentorship to cultivate the excellence needed for future leadership and impact.


This two-year structured development programme is designed for individuals early in their careers, such as recent graduates or those in their second job. Combining hands-on learning, mentorship, and professional growth opportunities, iCAP equips participants with critical skills, expands their networks, and provides invaluable regional and global experience, with the aspiration of progressing into an underwriter role upon successful completion.



Your Responsibilities



Assist in underwriting and processing new and renewal business in alignment with Chubb's underwriting appetite, authority limits, and business objectives Collaborate with the team to ensure adherence to efficient working practices as outlined in established underwriting guidelines Support the underwriting team by participating in meetings with brokers and internal stakeholders to foster strong relationships and effective communication Deliver high-quality service to underwriters and brokers while developing technical expertise and broader business skills in the insurance industry Contribute to team management by assisting in the creation, execution, and monitoring of exposure reports Ensure compliance with company standards for policy documentation, quoting timeframes, and renewal processes, while adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements Operate within the framework of Chubb's Code of Conduct, Compliance policies, Peer Review protocols, and established company guidelines Benefit from a comprehensive learning and development curriculum, which includes 70% on-the-job learning and 30% off-the-job learning

Who We're Looking For



We're looking for individuals eager to learn, grow, and succeed in a dynamic environment. No prior experience in insurance is required; just a willingness to embrace new challenges and develop your skills.


Requirements:



Minimum BSc/BA degree or equivalent; any degree subject is welcome Recent graduates with up to 2 years prior experience, including internships and second jobbers Proficient in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) High accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to build rapport Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving under tight timeframes Collaborative, curious, and eager to learn, with a "can-do" attitude and commitment to excellence Results-oriented, adaptable, and highly committed Willingness to undertake on-the-job training, including potential placements in other Chubb offices and to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools Regional and international mobility is advantageous
