This role is to support the Head of International Finance Compliance in establishing the Group's overseas presence from a tax and company law perspective. Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance in each market, in partnership with external advisors.


You will help shape the Group's international compliance framework, define market entry strategies, and advise on whether and how to establish an in-country presence. This includes determining financial, tax, and global mobility requirements, ensuring Sales has accurate country-specific tax information, and assisting HR on posting workers overseas and double taxation claims.


The role covers all aspects of international tax compliance, including reviewing tax returns, monitoring ongoing obligations, and supporting indirect tax compliance (VAT/GST/WHT). You will guide stakeholders on maintaining compliance and help transition new markets into business-as-usual operations, minimising financial, legal, and regulatory risks for the Group's global activities.


What you'll be doing as our International Finance Compliance Manager:




Work with external advisors and complete detailed independent research to understand challenges, obligations, and practices of working in new territories (taxation, global mobility, company law, trade permits, etc.). Collaborate with the Head of International Finance Compliance and senior internal stakeholders to agree on the entry strategy for new international markets. Implement agreed strategies to ensure smooth entry into new countries (completing documentation, coordinating advisors, managing timelines, etc.), and keep the business up to date with progress. Support the HR team with global mobility advice on posting of workers overseas/hiring internationally. Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders on all international compliance matters, including completing annual compliance and reporting documentation. Provide guidance to the International Finance, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams on tax and financial compliance, supporting the business-as-usual financial reporting and invoicing processes. Project management of external tax and reporting deadlines globally, overseeing teams across the Group's various international offices. Conduct technical reviews of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns and reporting for any countries where the Group has such obligations (corporation tax, sales tax, employment tax, withholding tax, etc.). Monitor changing rules in any countries where the Group has a business presence to ensure we remain compliant. Detect and challenge inadequate or ineffective controls to mitigate risks. Own and support internal teams with changing regulation requirements and adapt the business model accordingly from a financial perspective. Ensure the business undertakes regular reviews of material risk and adherence to policy standards.

What we're looking for in our International Finance Compliance Manager:




Previous experience in a relevant role/roles. Mandatory strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Professional qualification in Tax or a Chartered Accountant Technically minded, proven experience of

international tax and global mobility.*
Strategic thinking and the ability to manage complex tasks while working to tight deadlines. Communicating and collaborating with senior stakeholders, including executive-level officers. Working with external advisors (tax, finance, and regulatory) and scrutinising advice received. Completing independent research for new territories. Willing to work independently to identify opportunities for improvement in business practices and structure. Strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Strong organisational, time management, and project management skills.

Preferred but not essential


Experience with Bloomberg's International Tax platform. Experience and knowledge of the IT infrastructure, networks, and connectivity industry.
