Salary:

Competitive, plus 4,800 car allowance or 4,300 cash equivalent, full family healthcare, 18% annual bonus potential, 27.5 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing with service), and a company pension scheme with highly competitive contribution rates

We're looking for an International Programme Manager to lead strategic programmes that span global markets. This role offers the opportunity to shape international initiatives that align with organisational goals, regulatory standards, and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities





Lead and manage cross-functional international programmes from initiation through to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and outcomes are achieved. Translate strategic goals into clear, actionable programme plans with measurable outcomes. Collaborate with internal teams, external suppliers, and technology partners to ensure smooth execution and integration. Monitor programme performance, risks, and dependencies, providing regular updates to senior stakeholders. Ensure compliance with international postal regulations and trade agreements. Identify opportunities to enhance international service offerings. Ensure programmes are accurately costed and demonstrate a clear return on investment. Track costs, benefits, and performance across the programme portfolio. Promote collaboration across the international function and wider business. Align change initiatives with internal teams and stakeholders. Coordinate with IT and software partners for system updates and enhancements. Liaise with software vendors (e.g., shipping and customs solutions). Uphold programme governance, ensuring milestones, budgets, and quality standards are met. Provide transparent updates on progress and track benefits. Support future development by helping build business cases for change. Encourage continuous improvement and innovation across international services. Stay informed on global logistics trends and emerging market opportunities. Represent programme performance at governance forums and change boards. Foster engagement and alignment among programme stakeholders. Model professionalism, integrity, and a focus on outcomes. Create an inclusive and psychologically safe environment where diverse perspectives are valued. Support change through clear communication and stakeholder involvement.

About You





Significant experience in programme management, ideally within international logistics, e-commerce, or technology-led environments. Understanding of international shipping, customs procedures, and cross-border commerce is beneficial. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence across levels. Able to think creatively in order to solve complex business problems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to provide concise summaries & updates at short notice. Proven ability to deliver change in complex, multi-stakeholder settings. Commercial awareness and strategic thinking, with a focus on delivering value. Familiarity with international postal operations, customs, and compliance is advantageous. Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) is desirable but not essential Ability to manage multiple projects and balance short-term delivery with long-term strategy. Experience working with technology and data teams to deliver digital and automated solutions. Comfortable using data and analytics to inform decisions and strategies.
