As an International Scholarships Administrator, you will take responsibility for the administration of scholarship scheme/s co-ordinated by the international recruitment team, including University diversification scholarships ('Global Futures') as well as the 'Great' and 'Women in STEM' scholarships in partnership with the British Council.
This role will entail working with Country managers within the International Office to: define terms and conditions for awards; develop scholarship application forms using Qualtrics or Microsoft Forms; assist with data cleansing prior to shortlisting; handling enquiries from and communicating outcomes to scholarship applicants, and monitoring scholars' academic performance.
This role will require considerable cross team working with colleagues in Admissions, the Student Data, Analysis and Records Team, Divisional Finance and Student Finance. This will also involve liaison with Faculty Admissions colleagues to ensure a joined-up approach to central and Faculty award allocations and close collaboration with country managers.
The post holder will require a high level of proficiency with Excel and should be comfortable with numerical analysis and Power BI. Strong coordination and time management skills are also essential to ensure that we adhere to the defined timelines and budget of the scholarship schemes. You will also be involved in reviewing the scheme annually to assess its efficacy and make recommendations for improvements.
You will work with the web team to ensure that the awards are promoted on the central web pages and respective country pages. You will handle enquiries from potential students in a timely and professional manner and will assist with developing marketing collateral from current scholars. This may include written and video testimonials or contribution to student panels.
