IWG (International Women's Group) ESOL Facilitator

27,540 per annum pro rata to 4 hours a week term time only (from FTE 35 hours)
Wednesday mornings, 9am -12pm, plus another hour per week
Suffolk Refugee Support is a charity based in Ipswich town centre but working across Suffolk that exists to support and enable Asylum Seekers and Refugees in Suffolk to lead integrated, fulfilled and contributing lives within their new communities.
Suffolk Refugee Support provide a welcoming environment where clients can access help, advice, support and practical services in order to be healthy and safe and begin to rebuild their lives.
The IWG ESOL Facilitator will be responsible for planning and providing teaching materials for the weekly ESOL sessions at the International Women's Group to be delivered to the learners via volunteer tutors. The Facilitator will also be responsible for the delivery of the learning activity that follows the ESOL sessions and for ensuring that they are aligned to funder outcomes.
The International Women's Group meets every Wednesday morning offsite and online during term time. The group gives refugee and asylum-seeking women the opportunity to meet new friends, to learn to speak English and gain useful knowledge of life in the UK.
The successful applicant will be required to have an enhanced DBS check to be carried out upon commencement of employment. The successful applicant must be eligible to work in the UK.
