Backed by Nordstar Venture Studio, Hive Mechanics focuses on ideating, designing and implementing practical AI and Automation solutions, aiming to solve real-life challenges with real-world applications. We work closely with businesses to implement AI tools and processes that improve efficiency and effectiveness, using a hands-on, collaborative approach.
We optimize for the best business outcome and create maximum value for our Partners - we transfer know-how and make our Partners independent. The ultimate goal is to influence the culture of everyone we cooperate with to understand the best ways to integrate AI and Automations in their organization.
We're looking for an AI & Automation Intern to learn and support our team in designing, refining and implementing Automation and AI solutions. You'll gain hands-on experience building no-code or low-code workflows, agents and processes, minimizing the dependency on engineering teams. You'll learn to solve real-life problems and approach AI from the operational perspective, with full supervision and mentoring from our founding team.
This is a 6-12 month paid internship with potential for transition to a full-time position upon completion. You'll work alongside the architect, sales and founding team in an environment that celebrates different backgrounds and perspectives

Tasks

• Learn to support Partners in creating and refining Automation & AI strategies under supervision
• Gain operational experience implementing AI models in business processes
• Shadow Leadership Team meetings to understand strategic decision-making
• Build foundational business and technical skills with partners & the team
• Experience the fast-paced nature of a startup while contributing to product-market fit

Your day-to-day

• A typical week includes: Internal projects, Partner-project support, Learning & Mentoring session, time for learning new technologies
• Core collaboration hours are 11am-4pm CET, but outside of that, you work when you're most productive - we care about results, not hours logged

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Computer Science degree or a degree in a related field
• Has attempted or shown interest in no-code/low-code automation tools (Zapier, Bardeen, Clay, n8n, Zep, etc.)
• Strong interest in AI applications and prompt engineering
• Eager to learn and passionate about using technology to solve real problems
• Good communication skills with desire to develop client-facing abilities
• Must have valid work permit for EU, UK, or US

• Compensation: EUR10 - EUR14,50/h or local currency equivalent (based on experience, time you can dedicate to working for us, educational background and location)
