We are seeking a dedicated Intervention Tutors to join our team. At Anderida Learning Centre, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives by providing educational support and guidance.
This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively educate and engage with students with SEMH.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students
- Assess students' learning needs and develop personalised lesson plans
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in accordance with the curriculum
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student performance
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop strategies for student success
- Utilize a variety of teaching resources, including technology, to enhance learning outcomes
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress

- Proficient in both verbal and written communication
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Patience, empathy, and a strong desire to facilitate student success
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Flexibility
- A healthy sense of humour
Desirable Qualities:
- Prior experience in tutoring or teaching, especially with children, is advantageous but not required.
- Competence in effectively educating and engaging students of diverse ages and abilities.
- Experience in managing challenging behaviours in young people.
- Proficiency in English, mathematics, and computer literacy skills.
