We are currently seeking a
dedicated Inventory Clerk / Administrator
to support our growing business and assist in the smooth running of our residential property operations.
This varied role combines administrative work in the office with property visits, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of desk-based and on-the-go tasks. You will be required to use your own vehicle for duties outside the office, for which a
mileage allowance
will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct property visits to create detailed and accurate inventories of fixtures and fittings before tenancies begin.
Carry out final inspections of properties at the end of tenancies, ensuring records are complete and accurate.
Maintain up-to-date property records through accurate data entry in property management software.
Coordinate property repairs and upgrades between tenancies, liaising with contractors to ensure work is completed promptly and properties are well-maintained.
Support general administrative tasks within the office as required.
Requirements
Previous experience in property management, lettings, or a related field is beneficial but
not essential
-- full training will be provided.
Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Professional phone manner and confident communication skills when dealing with tenants, landlords, and contractors.
Proficiency in standard office software; familiarity with
SME Professional
or similar property management systems is advantageous.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and take initiative.
A proactive, customer-focused approach and a genuine interest in property.
A valid driver's licence and access to your own vehicle.
