Inventory Controller

Job Description

CCP Gransden is pleased to be recruiting a Inventory Controller for its High Value Manufacturing facility in Ballygowan, County Down conveniently situated 15 minutes from Belfast. This exciting role will support the company's activities in the manufacture of advanced composite parts and assemblies for customers in the aerospace, defence, maritime and automotive sectors. We are seeking candidates from a manufacturing stores or warehousing background.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES



Managing goods receipt and storage, including:

Receiving goods, checking against orders and inspecting for damage Liaising with QA department for goods in inspection including recording certificates of conformity Inputting goods information onto the company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system Ensuring stock accuracy between system and physical Managing material storage via lot tracking, expiry dates and stock locations Picking goods / kitting, delivering to manufacturing cells on the factory floor and receiving back into stores Managing and controlling inventory processes and procedures to maintain accuracy, efficiency and compliance across all storage and movement of goods.
Managing consumable item inventory, including:

Monitoring stock levels of consumable items Raise Purchase Requisition for required items to be purchased by Purchasing Team Work with Kanban system Controlling of inventory to maintain optimal stock levels, minimise waste and ensure traceability
Packaging and Despatch, including:

Accurately pick items from stores as required, packing securely and generating correct paperwork Liaising with internal admin to book collections and support loading of vehicles Deliveries and collections using company vehicles Management of ERP system to reflect full and partial deliveries
Operation of Stores Equipment, including:

Use of Forklift Trucks, Company Vehicles, Overhead Crane, etc. in accordance with safety guidelines Making full checks on Equipment before use, completing checklists and arranging repairs
Other related tasks, including:

Adhere to all company policies including QMS and H&S Undertake other duties as may be reasonably required

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA



Minimum 2 years' experience working in stores environment Ability to demonstrate proficiency in stock management software systems Good administrative and organisational skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook) Methodical and efficient approach to work with an exceptional attention to detail Full driving licence

DESIRABLE CRITERIA



Counterbalance Forklift licence Experience of Warehouse / Stock Management Systems Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP Experience of working with Quality Management Systems ISO9001

PACKAGE:



Base salary of 30k 32 Holidays annually
After successful 6 month probationary period:
