The primary purpose of this role is to manage ISDM's inventory and support the procurement process to deliver projects successfully following the five rights of procurement.
The role will provide an administrative and support function in a busy day to day environment working closely with the Procurement team to manage project hardware and logistics, based partly at ISDMs warehouse location and partly office based.
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
Track and manage orders, logistics and deliveries of hardware to ensure stock is available for project delivery in the right place at the right time.
Manage and maintain a well organised warehouse to ensure the safe keeping and accurate storage or hardware.
Work with Procurement and Operations teams to pick, pack and facilitate the logistics of project and internal hardware.
Produce accurate packing slips and provide all relevant documentation to support the successful delivery of project hardware to sites.
Ensure that all stock items have been correctly allocated to corresponding projects, labelled clearly and assigned an appropriate warehouse location for safe and well organised storage.
Execute logistics plans to move hardware to ensure it reaches the destination on time, with the correct quantity and the correct quality.
Manage project and internal logistics to the required cost and timelines.
Conduct an accurate monthly stock check in line with auditing procedures.
Devise ways to optimise inventory control procedures.
Manage RMAs of any faulty hardware to ensure a resolution for the customer in a timely manner and escalate any exceptions to the Procurement Manager
Support with any DOA cases by securing a swap out of the hardware within agreed timescales.
Facilitate the movement of goods between ISDM locations where required.
Maintain quality standards throughout the logistics process and identify opportunities for cost savings in this area.
Completion of accurate pricing of hardware orders.
Develop, maintain and improve relationships with suppliers to promote effective procurement activities and efficiencies.
