About the Role



You'll be responsible for providing a comprehensive Inventory and Logistics management function across our organisation. Along with:

Develop and implement operational plans to ensure the effective management of goods in, inventory control, despatch, and transport across two sites. Lead the development and management of key performance indicators, using insights to recognise achievements, highlight opportunities, and drive continuous improvement across Inventory and Logistics operations. Take ownership of planning, organising, and coordinating team activities to maximise efficiency and resource utilisation, ensuring our Inventory and Logistics operations run seamlessly and meet all operational goals. Maintain timely and accurate communications with all stakeholders to minimise disruption to operations and customer deliveries. Ensure storage and fleet capacity are optimised to meet both current and future activity levels, maintaining flexibility and contingency plans, while proactively evaluating and sharing depreciation and asset renewal schedules. Lead and develop Inventory and Logistics teams by driving a culture of continuous improvement, managing training needs, and ensuring effective communication.

About You



You will have proven experience in managing inventory and logistics across multiple sites, preferably within the manufacturing or distribution sectors. Along with:

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, develop, and manage high-performing teams Excellent expertise in inventory control, despatch, goods handling, and transport management Demonstrable experience in inventory management, particularly in high-complexity/variation SKU environments, and familiarity with modern line replenishment techniques Experience in developing and implementing operational plans, driving continuous improvement, and applying best practices in operational efficiency Strong commercial awareness, particularly within transport management and its impact on overall logistics Financial awareness, including experience managing departmental budgets and KPIs
