Inventory Management Officer Ecommerce Stock

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and organised

Inventory & Procurement Manager

to oversee our stock management team and end-to-end ordering process for eCommerce products.

This role ensures that products are ordered on time, inspected properly, and delivered efficiently while maintaining compliance with company and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing inventory operations, supplier relationships (including overseas agents), and team coordination in a fast-paced eCommerce environment.

Inventory & Procurement Oversight



Supervise the

inventory and purchasing team

, ensuring daily operations are efficient and accurate. Monitor stock levels, forecasts, and replenishment needs to prevent stock-outs or overstocking. Approve and oversee

purchase orders

, ensuring all procurement follows company guidelines and budgets. Work closely with the

China sourcing/inspection agent

to ensure timely product ordering, production follow-up, and shipment scheduling. Coordinate

product inspections

, quality checks, and approvals before shipment. Liaise with suppliers and freight partners to ensure smooth logistics and on-time deliveries.

Coordination & Team Management



Lead and mentor the inventory and procurement staff; assign priorities and monitor performance. Coordinate with

warehouse, logistics, and customer service teams

to ensure deliveries are aligned with business needs. Work closely with the

Product Compliance Manager

to ensure that all products ordered meet applicable safety, labeling, and regulatory standards before shipment. Support internal communication between departments to align supply chain, marketing, and operational timelines.

Reporting & Process Improvement



Maintain accurate reports on stock levels, lead times, purchase order status, and supplier performance. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce cost or delays. Analyse inventory data to forecast trends and optimise purchasing strategies. Escalate any critical delays, quality issues, or compliance concerns to management promptly. Strong knowledge in

Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field

. Experience in

inventory management, procurement, or supply chain operations

, ideally in eCommerce. Experience

working with overseas suppliers or agents (especially in China)

is essential. Strong knowledge of

inventory systems and procurement processes

. Excellent communication and coordination skills across teams and departments. Understanding of

product compliance and import/export regulations

is highly preferred. Strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in Excel, inventory management software
