Salary: \xc2\xa330,000 per annum

Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing company based in Rochdale, is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to join their team. As an Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company\xe2\x80\x99s inventory processes. You will play a critical role in maintaining accurate stock levels, minimizing waste, and ensuring the efficient flow of products within the organization. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain sufficient and correct multi-million-pound stock holding.
  • Work with suppliers to identify and overcome potential supply chain issues.
  • Identify and bring to market new products to enhance the current business\xe2\x80\x99s portfolio.
  • Feed products and promotions via existing and new supply chains, through the sales team.
  • Manage supplier commercial terms, including negotiating terms, settlement discounts, rebate agreements and cost savings to ensure a competitive edge in the marketplace.
  • Identify and negotiate bulk buying deals.
  • Maintain accurate delivery date status on the goods in and sales system.
  • Eradicate aged stock.
  • Attend trade shows and industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong relations with existing and new suppliers.
Qualifications:
  • Purchasing/inventory department experience.
  • Proven track record in negotiating supplier deals.
  • Bringing products to market experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent multitasking capabilities.
  • Self-driven work ethic and career motivation.
  • Availability for full-time work at our Rochdale office.
  • Desirable: Prior experience in the fire and security industry, distributor background (especially in a technical environment), familiarity with Sage software, and occasional travel flexibility.
