Become an Inverness Walking Tour Guide!

We are looking to add to our team of tour guides in Inverness. If you're friendly, love meeting new people, flexible and happy to share your passion for Inverness to people from all walks of life then this role is perfect for you! Confidence speaking in front of large groups of people is a must.

Walking Tours in Scotland provides city walking tours in towns and cities across Scotland. We have a passion for sharing the beauty of Scotland with locals and tourists from across the world, and wish to make every visitor's experience phenomenal.

Hours:

Part Time Position. City Centre Tours last 1.5 hours each, beginning at 11:30am every day (plus 2pm & 5pm in summer). Plus additional private tours. Likely 4-10 tours a week from May-October, then less in the off-season. Summer availability is essential.
This job is very suitable for retired individuals, students and those looking for a part-time role to earn some extra money and are excited about sharing their passion and knowledge for Inverness.

Skills and competency requirements:

Excellent communication and storytelling skills in English. Historical knowledge and passion for Inverness. Friendly and approachable. Ability to work independently. Flexibility in working hours. Must be reliable and responsible. Confidence talking in front of both small and large groups.
